Harry Garfield Waterbury: He was my father’s father and was married to Alice Cecelia Simcox on June 29, 1904 at Corning, New York (although they lived in Lock Haven, PA at the time). He died on June 8, 1940 at a hospital in Bellefonte, PA; however, I believe that he still resided in State College, PA at the time of his death. His mother was Priscilla Doney. Not much is known about his father who I believe was named John or Jonathan Waterbury. Also, there is a question as to whether Harry G. was born on August 15, 1880 or on August 15, 1881 (as his tombstone and war registration card say).

     Kenneth Buell Waterbury: He was my father’s brother and a son of Harry G. and Alice Cecelia Simcox Waterbury. He was married at least three times; but never had any children. My cousin, Les Fredrickson, should be able to provide additional information about Ken (who was his Uncle as well).

Helen C. Waterbury: She was my father’s sister and a daughter of Harry G. and Alice Cecelia Simcox Waterbury. Helen died on May 9, 2000, a resident of State College, PA. She never married nor had any children.

Birth Note:    Harry Paul Waterbury: He was my father and commonly went by H. Paul Waterbury or Paul Waterbury. He divorced Louise Cessna around 1945; then married my mother, Adah Louise Parkinson (note spelling of Adah) on December 3, 1947 in Mount Carmel, Illinois. Paul and Adah only had one child (me) Rian Parkinson Waterbury, born on November 8, 1963. Adah was born on August 8, 1921 in Mount Carmel, Illinois and died on May 21, 1989 at St. Mary’s hospital in Evansville, Indiana (although she resided in Mount Carmel, IL at the time of her death). Paul was born on October 1, 1910, in Lock Haven, PA and died on September 9, 1991, at home in Mount Carmel, IL.
