Relationship=1st cousin 1 time removed of Elsie Mae Klinger.     Ethel N. Klinger was born on 5 October 1916 in Washington Township, Dauphin Co., PA. She was the daughter of Wellington Oliver Klingerand Jennie Weaver. Ethel N. Klinger was baptized on 21 January 1917 in Oakdale Evangelical Congregational Circuit, Dauphin Co., PA, by Rev. Charles H. Eagle. She married Alfred Cookman Kaufman Jr., son of Alfred Cookman Kaufman Sr. and Beulah Beatrice Hoffman, on 15 April 1933. Ethel N. Klinger died on 22 May 2007 in Harrisburg Hospital, Harrisburg, Dauphin Co., PA, at age 90. She was buried after 22 May 2007 in United Methodist Church Cemetery, Halifax, Dauphin Co., PA.

Ethel N. Kaufman-90- a resident at the Manor @ Susquehanna Village in Millersburg and formerly of N. 5th St. in Halifax
passed away Tuesday, May 22, 2007 in the Harrisburg Hospital.
She was born Thursday, October 5, 1916 in Washington Twp. PA, Daughter of the late Wellington & Jennie Weaver Klinger.
She retired as a discrepency analyst for PA DOT and before that her and her late husband Alfred were co-owners of Kaufman's Garage in Halifax.
She was a member of Immanuel UM Church in Loyalton; Denny's Lennie's breakfast club and she enjoyed playing cards.
She was the widow of Alfred C. Kaufman.
Surviving are four Daughters Joanne Higdon of Clearfield , UT, Leslie Herb of Lykens RD, Mickey Shepler and Sharon Mart both of Halifax;
four Sons Terry, Douglas, David and Larry all of Halifax;30 Grandchildren; 42 Great-grandchildren; 12 Great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four sisters Lottie Wagner, Mabel Markle, Melva Miller, Vesta Hoffner and a brother Floyd Klinger.
Services will be held at Immanuel UM Church in Loyalton Saturday, May 26, 2007 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Fred Rudy officiating.
Interment will follow in the Halifax UM Cemetery.
Friends will be received 10-11 AM Saturday, May 26 at the church on Route 209 in Loyalton.
